SmartOne C includes the same Globalstar satellite tracking, including GPS positions and custom configured sensors which gather and send any asset status information, or emergency alert capability. SmartOne C can be line or battery powered. In the absence or interruption of external power, the SmartOne C tracking device will automatically switch to battery back-up. Using line power allows for maximum flexibility in messaging frequency and regular monitoring of any asset’s location. The SmartOne C uses a 5V external line power, 8–22V regulator cable, or (4) AAA Lithium batteries.

Various messaging modes for SmartOne continues to send location messages at set intervals while powered on.
● Standard Messaging Mode can be configured with or without motion.
● SmartOne Solar allows for speed and heading messages.
● Messaging can be set at intervals of up to 12 times within a day.
● Reduced Messaging Mode option.
● Ability to set a COL range (geofence) which defines a message interval inside or outside of a specified COL range.
● Ability to set a change of locations (re-center a message).
● Theft Alert Mode which is the same as Reduced Messaging Mode, though the device never re-centers.
● The SmartOne continues to send location messages at a message interval that is set during the configuration process until the power is turned off, or the battery dies.
